1. About these terms

These terms apply to services provided by Owls Bay Ltd (trading as Milepost Digital) (“we”) and to your use of this website. Each project is also covered by a proposal or agreement we agree with you in writing.

2. Our services

We provide website design, local SEO and related services described in your proposal. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.

3. Quotes and payment

Quotes are valid for 30 days. We take a deposit of 50% before work starts. We invoice the balance when the work is complete, and it is due 14 days after the invoice date. Late payments may incur interest and recovery costs as permitted by law.

4. Your responsibilities

You will provide content, feedback and approvals on time, and confirm you have the right to use all materials you give us. Delays on your side may move the delivery date.

5. Revisions

Your price includes 2 rounds of revisions. A round means one consolidated set of feedback sent to us in writing. Further changes are charged at £50 per hour (plus VAT where applicable).

6. Ownership

Once you have paid in full, you own the final website design and content we create for you, except third-party materials, plugins, fonts and our own pre-existing tools. We may show the work in our portfolio unless you tell us otherwise in writing.

7. Third-party services

Domains, hosting, plugins and similar services are provided by third parties and are charged separately. We are not responsible for their outages or changes.

8. SEO and results

We do not guarantee any search ranking, traffic or number of enquiries. Search engines change their rules and results depend on factors outside our control. We will report on the work we do.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow us to limit. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the relevant service.

11. This website

The content of this website belongs to us. Please do not copy it without permission. We try to keep it accurate but give no guarantee that it is complete or up to date.

12. Law
